October 2nd will mark the much awaited Sufi music extravaganza by the remarkable Coke Studio artist and Bollywood singer Jasbir Jassi.
Jassi is known worldwide for his amazing musical talent. He has released eight musical albums and has several hit songs to his credit such as Dil Laygee Kudi Gujrat Di & Akshay Kumar Starrer Patiala House.
The event hosted by Kanwal Toor (Miss India International 2001) & co -hosted by Suhel Seth (author, media persoanlity) will be attended by London’s biggest names in fashion, media and business. The evening includes a luxurious drinks reception, sumptuous three course meal and an after party in addition to the striking performance by Jasbir Jassi.

Host Ms Kanwal Toor the founder of CwC – Collective for Women & Children is an ex-model, television actor and actress for Bollywood & television. She participated in the Femina Miss India contest in 2001 & later went on to represent her country in Miss International 2001. Kanwal started her career in modelling & has worked for various brands such as Vogue, Pepsi, Mercedes, Gillette & Yamaha. She has worked in the critically acclaimed Bollywood film Cheeni Kum co-starring alongside Amitabh Bachan & Tabu.
Kanwal Toor said: “I am delighted to be a part of a great cause. Forced prostitution is a demon deeply prevalent in our society. We need to take action and now so that violence against sex workers can be controlled. Welfare of the sex workers and education of their children is our utmost priority”
Co Host Mr. Seth was on the global advisory board of British Airways until 2009 and presently sits on the global boards of Cavendish, Intelligence Squared and RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London) and on the regional boards of Citibank, Monsanto and Coca Cola. Mr. Seth has also been a Rotary International Scholar as well as the Founder of the Rotaract and Interact Clubs in Calcutta. He has addressed the International Executive Committees of companies such as American Express, Discovery Channel, BMW Foundation and Renault as well as the Harvard Business School on Building Brands in India.
The Event is organised to raise funds for welfare of sex workers and their children particularyly in the UK & India. CWC (Collective for Women and Children) aims to improve the welfare, healthcare and education of sex workers and their children. Additionally, the focus of the collective is on the reduction and/or abolition of abuse & violence experienced by some women from India or Pakistan who either move to, or marry in, the UK.
