Talking to Asian Lite, this stunner on the ramp, with qualities of a perfect model, tells Rahul Laud in a warm, friendly conversation about her winning and future plans.

AL – What is your aim in life? what do you want to become?

Anjali – My aim in life academically is to do research in Science. I have a huge interest in Biomedical science therefore I would like to pursue a career in that sector. Also non-academically, I would like to carry on doing pageants and hopefully to get into modeling as a hobby.

AL What were your preparations for the pageant?

Anjali – I was in Mumbai, India in July/August this year preparing for the pageant. I had mentoring sessions with the amazing Shivalika Sharma who taught me how to walk on the ramp and also on how to answer interview questions for the pageant. Also I had fitness training with the awesome Samir Purohit who owns a pilates studio in Mumbai. My designer for the pageant was Nivedita Saboo who is based in Pune and who designed my evening gowns for the pageant – she is incredible. I also had my Eco Awareness T-shirt designed by the amazing Melvyn Noronha who is based in Goa.

AL Who is your role model?

Anjali – I don’t just have one role model, I have two and they are my parents. They have always been there for me since the very beginning and I am very privileged to have them in my life. My dad Vikas Sinha is strong and all mighty, he gives me strength and confidence in whatever I do. My mum Ashvini Sinha she is my inner soul, she helps me to boost my self esteem and always helps  me to care for myself physically and mentally.

AL What are your hobbies?

Anjali – Dancing, Singing, listening to Music, producing EDM (Electro Dance Music), playing musical instruments like Guitar and Piano and Photography.

AL –  What does this winning mean to you?

Anjali –I believe Pageants empower women who can then make a difference to the society and the world that we live in. As a winner of the contest, I feel empowered to do something for the society at large. I would like to give back something that I have gained during my life.  I would work with some charities like the Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation and Oxfam and make all efforts in any which way possible to make a humble contribution. I have to also remain focussed on my academics and ensure that I pursue my A levels and then graduate in Bio Medical research and at the same time do Modeling as a hobby.
