Actress Shriya Saran inaugurates artist Rakhi Baid’s latest exhibition in Mumbai. Rakhi’s latest work of arts titles ‘Krishnansh’ was inaugurated in the Jehangir Art Gallery.

Her work depicts the divinity of Lord Krishna. According to her Krishna’s leela is the epitome of love, beauty, sacrifice and eternal attraction. His colour – the colour of blue- is the symbol of all existence on Earth. It is the symbol of preservation of mankind and its emotions on this planet. Her works have been carefully selected to portray the various aspects of this God. From the colour of his body to the peacock feather on his crown; to the melodious murali by on his hand and his divine Consort by his side, Baid has taken care of portraying all aspects of Lord Krishna through her art.
Rakhi comments,”In shadows I remained, ‘ART’ drew me towards the light of existence and gave a new meaning to my being. Painting came to me as a medium to give a way to my emotions that remained untold. ART is a way of living life in harmony with oneself.”
