The event put a spotlight on the pertinent topics affecting India in relation to its place on the global stage, particularly with reference to its recent listing as ‘the world’s fastest growing economy’. The event generated a lot of discussions especially on the topic of Modi Government’s two years performance.

Over 300 guests attended the conference.  The evening private reception was hosted by LSC Indian Students Union and the National Indian Students Union. Dr Virandra Paul, the Deputy High Commissioner, was the guest of honour.
