Grab your chance to become an ambassador to the Asian business community, reports Asian Lite news
The Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) is inviting members to put themselves forward for election to the organisation’s executive committee.
The requirement to stand for the office is that the candidate must belong to a business which is a member of the ABCC. Nominees will need to fill out an application form, with successful applicants invited to an interview panel, which will feature Paul Faulkner (Chief Executive), Russell Jeans (Business Services Director), Greg Lowson (President), Saqib Bhatti (President ABCC), Nasir Awan (ABCC honorary chairman), and ABCC vice-presidents Anita Champaneri and Waheed Saleem.
Saqib Bhatti , President ABCC said, “The Asian Business Chamber of Commerce is one of the most dynamic organisations in the region and is the gateway to Asian Businesses in the West Midlands. Being part of the board as an ambassador to the Asian business community is a real honour and privilege.”
Nomination forms must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12 noon Friday, 25 March.
The ABCC has also announced that its annual general meeting will be held at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce House at 10.00 am on Thursday 19 May 2016, at which the result of the executive committee selection process will be announced, including the new ABCC presidents.
The meeting will include an update on ABCC matters, and will also be an opportunity for all members to meet, network and exchange views and opinions.
