Deepa Viswamohan is a widely acclaimed Kuchipudi dancer, teacher, choreographer and postgraduate in Master of Business Administration. She is also the founder/director of “Abhinaya Fine Arts ” (Indian dance school).

This is  non-profit organisation dedicated to Indian Dance, in particular to the Kuchipudi style of Indian classical dance. Deepa viswamohan started learning “ANDHRANATYAM” at the age of 5  with “Padmasri Bharatakalaprapoorna, Acharya Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna” later “KUCHIPUDI” with “Natya Visaradha Mallika Ramprasad”  also with “Devarakonda Srinivas.”

Deepa was fortunate to learn at Kuchipudi Art Academy(Chennai), under the guidance of “Padmabhushan Guru Dr. Vempati Chinnasatyam”. Deepa has given more than a 500 solo dance and ballet performances and won the acclaims and applause of critics and connoisseurs all over India, UK and many more countries.

Deepa received special appreciations from many judges at dance festivals across the UK for her
excellent Abhinayam(Expressions) in performing  “Bhama Kalapam”, “Shabdams” and “Tarangam.”
She portrayed lead roles in several dramas of Andhra Balananda Sangham, (India).

She won several state and local dance competitions representing Andhra Balananda Sangham
& Andhra pradesh state government .
Deepa performed lead roles with her Guru Mallika Ramprasad one of her lead roles was “Yashodha” in
” Krishnam Kalayasakhi Sundaram” was highly appreciated . Deepa has successfully ventured into dance choreography and research to explore different  creative aspects of the classical dance. It is her vision to learn and know more about Kuchpudi and spread this art form through out UK.

Deepa is spreading Indian art and culture by conducting many Kuchipudi art workshops  and dance classes  for adults and young children at various places in England .
