Victory is on the horizon for 25 year-old New Yorker Faryal Makhdoom as she begins training for the biggest event of her life. The glamorous yummy mummy and wife of Olympic Medalist and 2x World Boxing Champion Amir Khan, Faryal Makhdoom Khan is set to make her catwalk debut next month, as the Showstopper at the prestigious Asiana Bridal Show.

The beautiful Pakistani American fashion and beauty icon wed the Bolton boxer in 2013, and since then has amassed an impressive social media following of over half a million; with fans in awe of her svelte figure, voluminous locks and fairytale lifestyle that she shares on her Instagram and YouTube channel. But while to date it’s Amir who has stolen the limelight, Faryal is about to take centre stage in the ring, as she swaps the red carpet for the runway.

Proving herself a champion of high-couture, Faryal frequents glamorous red carpet events with her husband Amir, but now for the first time, she is stepping out alone with her own fight for freedom.

Sharing a blow-by-blow account of her preparations she said: ‘As a dedicated follower of fashion I’ve always loved dressing up and feeling glamorous but I’m nervous about modelling on the catwalk – usually I walk the red carpet with my husband Amir, but this time it’s just me! I’m putting in lots of practise, just as Amir trains for his boxing matches, I’m preparing to take on the runway and am rolling with the punches, with my own killer instincts.’

Mother totwo-year-old Lamaisah, Faryal admits she’s not ready to throw her towel in the ring just yet as a mother and wife, but is ready to release her inner champion: ‘I adore Pakistani fashion, it’s a side of Pakistan that the whole world needs to see and I’m ready to be that role model, to fight for Pakistan’s fashion industry and ensure there are plenty more rounds of it to come.’
