Established 35 years ago, Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Liverpool has been conducting and hosting festivals and socio-cultural activities as a Hindu Cultural Organisation.

Speaking to Asian Lite, the priest of the temple Yogi Pandit Nutan Prakash said that apart from executing the duties of a priest and performing marriages, he also gives lectures on Spirituality, Yoga, meditation at the temple and get youth’s focus towards Hindu rituals in the ideology of Sanatan Dharma.

He also conducts awareness sessions and educates different social sections and local authorities. The centre started its unique Annual Katha Mahotsav in 2010, and organised Shiv Puran, Bhagavat Puran, Ram Charit Manas, Devi Bhagavat each year successively. This year they are organising Sri Radha Krishna Katha Mahotsav for 7 days from 8th-15th July. There are satsangs on every Tuesday, Senior Citizen Club twice a week which will also have an annual tour organised for them.

Religion and Spirituality are an integral part of culture. We are glad we are able to instil and keep up the pride of belonging to the great Indian heritage, said Lal Singh who is spear-heading the temple committee currently.

The temple hosted the annual Srinivasa Kalyanam recently, attended by about 150 people.
