Set to draw media professionals and institutions from around the UAE, the community engagement event is part of NMC’s efforts to support the ‘#Year of Giving’ initiative, which was launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and in partnership with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ADNOC, and Etisalat. The march aims to highlight the media sector’s role in supporting and contributing to the success of key national initiatives.
The event seeks to involve members of the national media sector in promoting the noble messages and objectives of the UAE’s ‘Year of Giving’ and other national initiatives, as well as to inspire members of society and encourage their active participation.
The march adds to the nation-wide efforts to highlight the UAE’s distinguished global reputation for volunteer work and community engagement, while reinforcing the important values of charity and social responsibility across the media sector.
Participants at the march was able to purchase coupons worth AED100, provided by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, in support of their various charitable activities.
