Aamchi Mumbai hosts charity dinner for Indian acid victims

At a charity evening Aamchi Mumbai , Manchester’s popular restaurant for Indian street food and cuisine raised funds for Local charity St Ann’s Hospice and for Victims of acid attack girls in India. Asian Lite reports
aamcchi charrtyOn the occasion Aamchi Mumbai raised £1175 in the evening. Restaurant’s co founder and Director Sandeep Gursahani says , ” some part will be donated to St Ann’s Hospice and as the collection is large we will now donate more causes in India including  Acid attack victims.”
The evening was fully booked by the restuarnt’s regular guest. Regular clientele and guests walked in to support and “there was no  marketing effort required at all,” adds Sandeep.  A grand delicious 7 course menu was served .
Aamchi employee – team member Donya Bonyadi who is a professional opera singer performed to render her support. She is very popular among  guests at Aamchi for singing, says Sandeep.aamchi 2

Sandeep adds with pride , “The event was held on my wife Hetal’s birthday.  I had deliberately  chosen that day for Charity so we can celebrate her birthday with our  regular guests and support social causes.”
