India’s best 25 musicians with renowned four singers besides a veteran Bollywood compere will perform in Leicesetr (12th Feb), London (13the Feb) and Oldham (Valentine’s Day Special – 14th Feb) ….reports Asian Lite News
Famous Indian singer Mukhtar Shah, the voice of Mukesh, along with Anil Bajpai, the voice of Rafi, besides Priyanka Mitra and Shailaja Subramanian will perform along with 25 class musicians at De Montfort Hall on Friday; Harrow Leisure Centre in London on Saturday and The Queen Elizabeth Hall at Oldham, Greater Manchester, on Sunday. Sandip Panchwatkar will be the master of the show.
Mukhtar Shah, a bachelor of Law, was an advocate at Criminal Court, Ahmedabad since 1988.He had fallen in love with Mukesh’s voice from his early childhood and also started singing at various social events and later in college annual functions.
Anil Bajpai hails from Gwalior, the city of Tansen and the famous Gwalior gharana. He has been enthralling audiences with his flawless rendition of Mohammed Rafi songs since past few years.
During his childhood days in Gwalior, Anil spent a lot of time memorising his idol Rafi’s songs. “Though I never thought it would become my life’s calling. I am truly blessed to be able to live out my dream this way,” he was quoted as saying.
