The campaign of an Indian-origin doctor in the forthcoming British general election is gathering momentum. Dr. Chandra Kanneganti is a GP at Stoke On Trent and managing three GP practices. He came to the country in 2002 and did various hospital posts in the Midlands and Scotland before settling as a GP at Stoke in 2006.
Dr Chandra is an elected councillor at Stoke On Trent City Council. He is also a national GP leader since 2012 playing a crucial role through BMA GP committee supporting GP’s and GP practices across the country.
Dr Chandra is clinical lead for GP Heath in North Midlands supporting GP’s with mental health. He is elected as Conservative candidate for Warley constituency in Sandwell. He is currently campaigning in Warley in supporting to deliver democratic mandate of Warley residents who voted 62% to leave in the EU referendum. He has contacted number of local community leaders from all committees and received good support and feedback.
