Indian doctors’ forum BAPIO honours Mr Buddhdev Pandya MBE for his two decades of dedicated service to the cause of doctors in the UK….reports Asian Lite News

India’s Deputy High Commissioner to UK,, Mr. Dinesh K. Patnaik presents BAPIO AWARD 2016 for ‘Dedicated Service to BAPIO’ to Mr Buddhdev Pandya MBE, Director of Policy and Promotion and one of the founders of British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

Dr J S Bamrah, Chairman of BAPIO, said Mr Pandya is a symbol of hope for migrant doctors, especially Asia, during the HSMP issue.

Mr Pandya was one of the keyperson who helped to found the association. For over 13 years he made voluntary contribution towards strategic development and support the management of the Association. He received standing ovation after delivering his acceptance address at the Awards event.

Mr Pandya was also awarded the prestigious EMRACE AWARD for Lifetime Achievements at a National Health and Care Annual event held at the Senet house. University of London
