Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline today welcomes its first 737 MAX aircraft into its fleet. Reports Asian Lite News..
The airline will become the first Indian carrier to fly the new and improved 737 aircraft, which delivers a double-digit improvement in fuel efficiency and improved passenger comfort.
The arrival of the aircraft represents the first of 150 737 MAX aeroplanes that Jet Airways has on order with Boeing, following two separate orders for 75 jets placed in 2015 and earlier this year. The new aircraft will strengthen Jet Airways’ flight offering for its business and leisure customers travelling from the UK to India and beyond.
