Mr Prabhakar Kaza is contesting for Councillor’s position from Brook Meadow ward in Hertsmere Borough on Labour Ticket

A prominent member of the Indian community is contesting the forthcoming local elections. Mr Prabhakar Kaza (67), former president of UK Telugu Association and the president of Indian Forum on British Media, is contesting for Councillor’s position from Brook Meadow ward in Hertsmere Borough on Labour Ticket.

Mr. Kaza was also the General Manager for UK, State Bank of India, London (2002-05) and thereafter served in HSBC as Relationship Director. He is currently CEO/Board Member of Nevis International Bank & Trust. The local enterprises in Borehamwood are being supported by him through his Kaza Business Consultants Ltd which facilitates loans through Banks.

Mr Kaza has worked for the labour party for the last one decade in several constituencies. He is a resident of Borehamwood for the last 12 years and is a supporter of several local activities. He is also a champion of Women’s Cricket and runs Indian Women’s Cricket Fans Network Facebook page which boasts of 89,000 members!

Mr.Kaza’s platform of his Campaign is to stop closures of his public facilities in Borehamwood—Post Office, Police Station, NHS Surgeries, Schools etc.  Repair of Pot holes on the road and keeping Borehamwood clean are is his favourite themes.
