Thiruvathirakali of Kerala in the folk genre has enthralled the audiences at the International Dance Day celebrations at Church of Scientology.
The dance was presented by Manju Sunil, Nethra Vivek, Shyama Shalin, Parvathi, Sridevi and Dipti. All dancers are hailing from Kerala and living in London.
The event, titled “Dance and Development” was hosted at Church of Scientology London, where Garo dance of Meghalaya, Cheraw dance of Mizoram and Siddi dance of Karnataka and Pavara dance of Maharashtra were presented gracefully. The programme highlighted art, culture and empowerment of tribal communities of India.
The hall was fully packed with audiences equally diverse, representing a vast variety of community and faith organisations.
