Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Chandrababu Naidu will visit US, UK and the UAE to attract investments to his dream projects including the creation of new capital Amaravati.
The 9-day tour will help Mr Naidu to interact with major investors in three continents. Starting on October 18, Naidu will wind up his foreign visit on October 26 in the UK.
The chief minister will be accompanied by state Finance Minister Mr Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, NRI Minister Mr Kollu Ravindra , Municipal Minister Dr Narayana AP, Govt Advisor Dr Parkala Prabhakar, AP NRT President Dr Ravi Vemuru, Energy Infra Secretary Mr Ajay Jain , CRDA Commissioner Mr Cherukuri Sridhar and Economic Development Board’s Mr Jasti Kishore.
For the last three years Mr Naidu is working to develop the new capital “Amaravati” in 33,000 acres. World renowned British architect Norman Foster is designing the capital city.
Naidu is also fuelling an industrial revolution in the state through several schemes. He is allocating lands to NRI to develop SMEs through APNRT. The idea to develop clusters of SMEs was formulated during the visit of Mr Naidu to London in March 2016.
IIn the US, he will visit New York, Chicago and Iowa and meet the representatives of several leading IT companies. He will participate in the Stakeholders Consultation Workshop involving top scientists, representatives of seed and agriculture companies to explain the Mega Seed Park coming up in Kurnool district.
Naidu will also attend the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum round-table. He will also hold a discussion with the officials of Iowa University and attend the presentation ceremony of World Food Prize 2017.
In the UAE, Naidu will participate in Business Leader Forum, hold meetings with representatives of Emirates National Bank of Dubai, Dubai National Air Transport Association, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
In the UK, the Chief Minister will inspect the designs of Secretariat, Assembly, High Court buildings being developed by the London-based Foster + Partners. Besides participating in the UK – India Business Council round-table meeting, the Chief Minister will interact with investors and receive the Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Governance and Sustainability.
