A recent survey has ranked National Express bus Service as one of the best. . . . reports Asian Lite News
The National Express West Midlands Bus service has been seen to be one of the best bus services according to a survey. This yearly survey shows that the passengers are extremely happy with the way the bus service functions and are satisfied with the entire experience on the whole.
Those who took the survey had very relevant parameters to judge the performance of the service. Some of these parameters were punctuality, duration of the journey and the driver’s conduct.
It is often seen that with public transport the duration of waiting is longer than with private transports. But the National Express buses have made sure that they would adhere to the mentioned timings most of the time, although one cannot really vouch for unexpected delays. Around 77% of the locals are happy with the waiting time for the buses.
A total of 80% people are satisfied with the time it takes for them to reach their destination by availing one of the National Express Buses. 75% of the people were satisfied with the punctuality of the buses. These buses tend to come on time except for unexpected delays as mentioned above. A total of 86% people have voted for the driver’s conducts while their stay on the bus. This has gone up by a total of 12% since last year.
Peter Coates, managing director of National Express West Midlands, said: “I’m delighted that our scores for driver satisfaction keep climbing. It shows that investing in the professionalism of our drivers, our excellent training programme and our rigorous performance monitoring are bringing results for passengers. This survey shows our customers are happy with how our drivers treat them, they know that drivers care about them and their journeys, and they like how safely and smoothly our buses are driven.”
Such surveys help in providing feedbacks for the transport services about what their service means to the people. While a positive feedback brings in encouragement, a negative feedback gives scope of constructive criticism and a chance to improve their services.
