Saif Mobile StudentThe Moochies for Kids product enables parents to track their children anywhere in the world and screen just who can call the watch using the app which accompanies the latest innovation.

Priced at £79.99, the watch comes in four colours and is the brainchild of business partners Adrian Lisle and Ryan O’Neill, who met at Durham University.

Using GPS technology, parents will be able to track where their child is at all times, and set an exclusion zone which will in turn notify the app should the tracking system notice it has gone outside of it.

The watch allows two phone numbers to be stored and called, while 20 pre-agreed numbers will be able to call the phone which uses a pay-as-you-go sim card and works alongside Apple and Android devices.

Adrian Lisle, founder of Moochies for Kids, told Leicester Mercury: “We designed the watch and app not to restrict children from having fun, but to put parents’ minds at rest once their children start making their own way to and from school and to see their friends.

“It’s a modern day problem which so many parents can relate to, and we’ve come up with an innovative solution through a fashionable watch for kids that helps to ease them into the process of being independent, with the support of a safety net.”
