The Indian community in Manchester will remember Keralite Paul John as a father who saved his daughter and giving life to a number of strangers suffering from various organ diseases.
Mr Paul John, 42, a chef at Manchester Airport, was hit by a car on Sunday, while crossing the road with his daughter at Wythenshawe in Manchester. He was passed away at Salford Royal Hospital on Thursday, Kerala Link reported.
Mr John was picking up his daughter from the school when the accident occurred. His daughter was also injured. She was also taken to Salford Royal Hospital with minor cuts and bruises. The car also struck a 27-year-old woman and her two-year-old son moments after hitting Paul John and his daughter. An air ambulance, paramedics and police were called to the scene.
Paul who hails from Ayarkunnam Koodallur in Kerala was living in Wythenshawe with his family.
