It seems the whole world is heading towards an oblivion. Prime Minister Theresa May  is busy with her crucial Brexit vote. President Trump is mulling emergency to get funding to build a wall on Mexican border. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Modi is acquiring every opportunity to appease his voters in desperate measures, whereas his leadership is being challenged by his own party.

The turmoil of Brexit has created uncertainty not just for the UK but every country which is trading with UK. The parliament is going to vote on the deal agreed with Europe by Prime Minister May in the week starting 14th January and the whole world is waiting for the outcome. Stock markets and GBP is taking a beating, billions have been wiped out in the past months from the FTSE.

UK is pushing for free trade agreements with several countries but again they want to know what the deal with EU will be as do not want to lose out on the bigger market of EU in lieu of having an FTA with UK. Lot of companies in UK have started moving their operations and offices to countries like France and Malta to overcome the issue of a No Deal Brexit and want to have presence in EU.

LONDON, Dec. 4, 2018 (Xinhua) -- A pro-Brexit supporter is seen outside the House of Commons in London, Britain, on Dec. 4, 2018. British Prime Minister Theresa May said the five day Brexit debate which started Tuesday evening in the House of Commons will set the course Britain takes for decades to come. Next Tuesday MPs will vote on whether to support or reject a deal agreed between May's government and the European Union on Britain's future relationship with Brussels. Ryan Air has acquired a license to operate in UK and European territory in case of No Deal Brexit and is one of the first airlines to do so. The uneasiness of Brexit will be leading us up to 29th March 2019 when the UK officially comes out of EU whether a deal has been agreed and passed by Parliament or NO Deal Brexit. In any case the call for the second referendum will not die until the UK comes out of the EU and according to the PM democracy is upheld according to the verdict given by the people of UK in the 2017 Brexit vote.

The UK is in a total mess and there is no clarity to be seen soon which will affect the economy of the country to a large extent, there will be job losses and businesses will shut down. We can only play our part by supporting the government for the best outcome for the people of UK.

President Trump shutdown the US government over the funding for the wall has been over 18 days and there is no end in sight. He has suggested to declare emergency in the country to get the funding for the on the Mexican border. During his latest cabinet meeting, Mr Trump gave his piece of mind not just to Americans but the whole world. Talking about Iraq and Afghanistan Mr Trump took a dig at other countries and world leaders for not doing enough. Although he particularly mentioned the PM of India, Mr Modi several times, in his statement. Mr Trump said that Modi kept referring to this library India has built in Afghanistan and PM Modi has mentioned it to me on several occasions, does he think that mentioning the same thing several times increases the efforts on India in Afghanistan?

India has seen some unprecedented moves by the Modi government in the past few weeks. It seems the government is trying to take desperate measures to make itself popular again for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The passing of the reservation bill for the upper caste to the tune of 10% is to appease the upper middleclass of India but how it will play out is yet to be seen. The constant demand for the Joint Parliamentary Committee has grown in the past few weeks.

Even the allies of BJP are demanding the probe or abandoning them in the case of Assam where the citizenship bill is taking a toll on the BJP. People within the BJP like Sanghpriya Gautam are demanding that Nitin Gadkari should become the Deputy Prime Minister of India which shows that the party doesn’t have confidence in Modi leading the BJP in to the Lok Sabha elections or to lead the government from the front.

Mr Gadkari at a women’s conference said that women politicians of India in the past proved their mettle by governing India and not by-passing reservation bills to appease a handle full of people. The reinstatement of Alok Verma CBI chief has further alienated the current government and has shown that the Supreme Court if not a puppet in the hands of the ruling party.

The international community, especially the NRI’s are going to play an important role in the upcoming elections as PIO’s have been granted the right to vote. The strong 35 million Indian population across the globe is going to create history by voting in the right government for India which will not just help Indians in India but abroad too.
