A vibrant Children’s Talent show and Women’s Ramp Walk has been show-cased by Sur Bharti group at Isleworth and Syon School marking International Human Rights Day. Speakers on the occasion were Cllr. Amar Grewal, honourable Mayor of Hounslow, Mary Macleod, former MP for Isleworth, Lakshmi Kaul, Human Rights campaigner, Cllr. Geetha Morla from Milton Keynes and Rani Bilkhu, founder of the charity Jeena.

They have all emphasised on children’s personality development through art and culture and women’s role in the society and the issues therein. Cllr Pritam Grewal, Cllr Katherine Dunne, Cllr Myra Savin and Cllr Bishnu Bahadur Gurung were also in attendance, besides several other distinguished guests.

Thirty children have presented songs, dances, fancy dress and played instruments such as Tabla, Vioilin, Key Board and Guitar. From a 3 year old dressed up like Bat Man, to the popular children’s song presentation Lakdi ki Kathi, to energetic Bollywood and traditional classical dances, the children have captivated the audiences.

A welcome song was presented after which 20 women of varying backgrounds have walked the Ramp exuding beauty and confidence, choreographed by Priyanka Kanvinde.

Programme was hosted by Ashwini Kinhikar, a presenter at Lyca DilSe and was sponsored and supported by Lodha Group, B+ Consulting, Sanskruti Centre, Bawa London, Jeena charity, Magnifique Makeovers and La Vaastu. Gifts for Raffles draw were contributed by Jhoomke London, Ethnic Stop Shop, Direct School Wear, Aaditya Creations, Fafa Sani, Ashwini Kaleskar, Divyanjli Gandhi, Gurjinder Dhaliwal. Goody bags for children have been sponsored by Soul Crafts. Food court and Guest relations were taken care of by Vaishali Mantri, Rehana Ameer, Shivangi Gokhale and Hitanshi Bendre while Children’s section was coordinated backstage by Neelam More Agarwal, Anupama Nagaraja, Sahiti Nekkanti, Seemangi Palekar and Pallavi Vishwakarma.
