The One Voice Initiative drew wave after wave of commendation from guest speakers. Shebji Darsham, Guru of The international Anoopam Mission skyped from India, and repeatedly congratulated those involved in the project. The Lord Popat praised the initiative and stressed the importance of faith integration in British Society. In a powerful and emotional speech, the One Voice Ambassador Thelma Stober, a high flying lawyer and survivor of the London 7/7 Bombings talked about her experience, personal faith and pledged to support the project.

A short clip of the One Voice documentary ‘United by Faith’ was shown after producer Chris Mann (ex BBC Songs of Praise producer)  likened the Initiative to a flock of starlings ‘for those who question whether one idea can make a difference a starling can change the direction of the whole flock’. Following the release of the single at 12 pm, all hard copies of the single sold out within ten minutes.

In August 2015, the UK Armed Forces Faith Societies recorded a piece of music with the RAF Regimental Band to promote key messages of co-operation and tolerance. Servicemen and women from the Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Humanist faiths came together to sing, ‘Una Voce – A Path to Peace’. Supported by the North London Military Wives, Vocal Dimension, The Royal Harmonics Windsor and the Andover Fijian Choir, ‘A Path to Peace’ will be released on iTunes in December 2015, in tribute to Lavna Chuttoo. Una Voce is a five part symphony interlinked with different religious calls to prayer, written specifically for the One Voice Group. A documentary team has been following the group. The film, ‘United by Faith’ will be released in January.

With the support of not only the Principal Director of Music RAF Central Music Services and his Army and Navy counterparts, the idea has also attracted high profile attention of two of Britain’s best loved actresses, Dame Judy Dench and Joanna Lumley, who have lent their support to the campaign. Dame Judy Dench. patron of ‘One Voice’ stated that ‘she could not be more supportive of the initiative’. Ms Joanna Lumley stated that the project was ‘an important and touching initiative’. Stars, politicians, Lords and Faith Leadership are lining up to support the initiative.

‘A Path to Peace’ is available on I-tunes, Amazon and Sycamore Publishing.
