Indian communities across Britain celebrate Holi with religious flavour. Most of the temples, including Gita Bhavan in Manchetser, organised special events to mark Holi. Mr Alok Sharma, Minister of Foreign Affairs organised an event at Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London to celebrate Holi.
Prominent members of the Indian community attended the event. Indian Gymkhana, one of the oldest clubs in Europe, which celebrates 100th anniversary, hosted an event to celebrate Holi. More than 500 people attended the event. Indian Association, Manchester, Holi event will be at Platfield Park on Sunday (19th March).

Time: 1pm to 4pm
Dry powder colours will be on sale at a nominal price. Please do not bring your own colours.
Please do not come in your best clothes, wear something that you do not mind getting colours on, wear white if possible and play with colours in designated area only. Playing with colours (till 2pm), food and activity stalls 1pm to 4pm.
