After winning Mrs India Classic 2018, Manchester-based Sonia Ahluwalia will represent India at the Mrs United Nations 2018.
Mrs United Nations will be held in Jamaica, end of July where ladies from all over the world will be participating. The principle objective of this pageant is to identify and showcase the world’s best tourism cause ambassadors those who have the skill, talent and personalities suited to promote their respective countries in furtherance of tourism and international good will.
“I feel proud to have been given the opportunity to represent India at Mrs United Nations,” Mrs Ahluwalia told Asian Lite. “India is known for its diversity of culture and different religions. Having lived in such a society of togetherness, I want to spread the message of peace, happiness and harmony where all can stay together united.”
Mrs Ahluwalia thanked directors Mr Vinay Yadawa and Mrs Ritika Vinay Yadawa for selecting her to represent India at the world event.
“I believe we are all equal in this world. I am looking to bring a positive impact nationally and internationally so that the world we live in can be of peace understanding, tolerance and respect for all including our Mother Nature.” Mrs Ahluwalia added. “ I am looking forward to work with Mr Leon Williams, director of Mrs United Nations. I will try my level best to work hard and make both England and India proud of me. I will do my utmost to bring the glory home. I as Mrs India Classic United Nations 2018, am raising funds for a project undertaken by my director Mr Williams to renovate the high school in rural Jamaica so that the kids can see a positive future.”
She is married to Dr Ashvinderjit Ahluwalia.
