British Indian Actress Nita Mistry Signs to Hollywood’s Bohemia Management Group….reports Asian Lite News
Nita Mistry, an alumni of London’s prestigious Mountview Theatre School, has been signed with Hollywood’s Bohemia Management Group.
Nita has done several films and most recently played the semi lead in the British-Bengali feature film ‘Romeo Vs Juliet’ directed by Ashok Pati. She has also appeared on the prime-time popular BBC Television drama series ‘Casualty’ and ‘New Tricks’, alongside Amanda Redman and James Bolam.
Bohemia Management, headquarter in Hollywood, have offices in New York, Auckland, New Orleans and Dallas along with their own production company.
The actress who has just spent several weeks in Los Angeles is said to be thrilled.
” I feel it’s a good time for British ethnic actors over there right now, and I’m looking forward to spending some time out there.” Nita told Asian Lite.
The London based actress has also just finished filming the short film titled ‘On the Line’ in which she plays the daughter of a family from Pakistan who lived in the same village during the miners strikes in 1985.
The film also has a showcase along with a theatrical performance at the innovative Arcola Theatre bar in East London on Sunday 13 March.
