Connecting Minds

An exhibition, titled, “Connecting Minds,” kicked off last night at K Gallery in collaboration with the Emirates Fine Arts Society and with the participation of four Arab artists residing in the country.

K Gallery is situated in the Dubai Design District (d3) and was founded by Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Founder of the Khawla Art and Cultural Foundation, and wife of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser.

During the launch, Al Suwaidi said the exhibition is part of the foundation’s efforts to facilitate cultural mobility in the country and support talents and artists.

Dr. Lamees Al Qaisi, Director of the Foundation, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the exhibition will showcase distinguished artworks, noting that seven workshops hosted by four artists will take place on its sidelines.

She then pointed out that K Gallery is a key platform for showcasing various types of art and promoting citizen and resident artists, as well as international artists.

Annamaria Bersani, Director of K Gallery, said, to WAM, that she is honoured to participate in the project, noting that it aims to establish a distinguished platform for new talents.
