Recipe: Black Chana Salad

Ingredients

  1. Black Chana – ½ cup
  2. Cucumber – ½ cup [chopped]
  3. Pomegranate – ½ cup
  4. Green bell pepper – ½ cup (chopped)
  5. Red Bell Pepper – ½ [chopped]
  6. Yellow Bell Pepper – ½ cup [chopped]
  7. Red Onion – ½ cup [chopped]
  8. Corn – ½ cup

Ingredients for dressing

  1. Mayonnaise – ½ cup
  2.  Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  3. Chilli Flakes – ½ tsp
  4. Salt – accordingly
  5. Pepper Powder – ¼ tsp
  6. Honey – ½ tsp

Method

  1. Add all the chopped vegetables in a bowl along with the black chana.
  2. For the dressing, in another bowl mix lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt, pepper powder, chilli flakes and honey.
  3. Mix everything together and add this dressing to the chopped vegetables.
  4. Toss everything and serve.
