Amity Honours Top UAE Professionals

His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita has been recognized for activating and elevating economic movement in Dubai. As Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Dubai Land Department, he has expanded, modernized and diversified the regional property market, leading to unprecedented growth of Dubai’s real estate market and a stellar reputation for ease of property transactions.

A great visionary and a dynamic leader, His Excellency Abdulsalam Al Murshidi is an Omani icon was recognized for his success in the field of financial management. As the President of Oman Investment Authority, the Sovereign Wealth Fund of the Sultanate of Oman, he has expanded and diversified the region’s investments and assets, and played an important role in his country’s successful rise on the world financial stage.

All Round Performers were recognised for their commitment to the University and the community whilst also displaying personal and professional growth. Students that displayed excellent human values were honoured, and medals were given to students that achieved academic excellence.

Amity University’s Chancellor, Dr. Atul Chauhan said: “Under the leadership of the President of the United Arab Emirates and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, we are fortunate to celebrate this momentous occasion with students and their families. Graduation marks the end of a journey and the beginning of a new chapter for young adults. As educators, we are proud of the strength and grit of every graduating student, and we are positive that each of them will contribute to the country, society and humanity. It was a privilege to award honorary doctorates to His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita and His Excellency Abdulsalam Al Murshidi, both of whom embody the values of Amity University.”
