As Former Deputy Chairman of the entire London Conservative Party, a Former Tory Parliamentary & GLA Candidate – I today am backing the Labour Party & Danny Beales in Uxbridge & South Ruislip. Under Sir Keir Starmer the Labour party has changed for the better and is now ready to change our country for the better. Keir & his incredible shadow cabinet team have transformed the Labour Party and made it into a serious electoral force to be reckoned with.

As a resident of Uxbridge and South Ruislip, I have had the honor of getting to know the Labour candidate, Danny Beales for some time. A local himself, Danny grew up in the area, attended local schools, and worked with our National Health Service for ten years.

Danny is a true champion for our community. Recently, he met with the Deputy High Commissioner for India at the Indian Consulate in London to discuss our historic ties, the growing Indian diaspora community in Hillingdon, and how to foster connections between Brunel University, local employers and businesses to build on our British-Indian links.

Our places of worship should be sanctuaries of peace and reflection. Danny is committed to working with any future government and the local Police and Crime Commissioner to enhance the protection and security of temples and other places of worship. Ensuring that our mandirs are safe will be a top priority for him, reflecting his commitment to safeguarding the spiritual and cultural heritage of our community.

Most importantly, Danny understands the significant financial pressures facing many residents in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, where real wages have fallen by 3.2% since 2010. No one should be unable to afford to eat or heat their home. More and more families are struggling due to the Conservative government’s economic mismanagement over the past 13 years. We need change now.

It’s time to vote for a party that will put money back in the pockets of local residents, and this is what only Labour will do. Danny is a staunch supporter of small businesses, proven by his incredible work as a local councillor over the past ten years. I know he will work tirelessly to deliver a stable and growing economy in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, so that all families can feel hopeful and positive about the future.

I share Danny Beales’ vision of a diverse community, united by a strong belief in working together to create a future where every member of our community feels safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their dreams. On July 4th, we can all vote for this future by voting for Danny Beales to be the Labour MP for Uxbridge & South Ruislip.
