Jaipur Music Stage Concludes with Spectacular Performances by Kailash Kher and Hrishi

The grand finale on the third night was a musical spectacle. Carnatic-Pop sensation Hrishi dazzled the crowd with his unique fusion of Western pop and traditional Carnatic sounds

The Jaipur Music Stage 2025 concluded on a high note, captivating music enthusiasts with mesmerizing performances by the legendary Kailash Kher and Carnatic-Pop sensation Hrishi. Held at Hotel Clarks Amer, the three-day musical extravaganza complemented the vibrant Jaipur Literature Festival, drawing large crowds each evening.

The event opened with enchanting performances that celebrated India’s rich musical heritage. On the first night, audiences were treated to the timeless verses of medieval mystics Amir Khusrau and Kabir Das. Abhijit Pohankar’s ‘Hazrat Amir Khusrau Project’ and a rock-opera interpretation of Kabir’s baani by Dastaan LIVE set an inspiring tone for the festival.

The second night featured singer-songwriter Kamakshi Khanna, followed by a memorable collaboration between vocalist Susheela Raman, guitarist Sam Mills, and 13th-generation Nagada player Nathoo Lal Solanki. Raman’s soulful rendition of Yeh Mera Diwanapan Hai left the audience spellbound.

The grand finale on the third night was a musical spectacle. Carnatic-Pop sensation Hrishi dazzled the crowd with his unique fusion of Western pop and traditional Carnatic sounds. With over 300,000 followers and 30 million online views, Hrishi’s magnetic stage presence and innovative compositions set the perfect tone for the evening.

The night’s crescendo was Kailash Kher’s electrifying performance with his band, KAILASA. A Padma Shri awardee and one of India’s most celebrated voices, Kher enthralled the audience with iconic anthems such as Teri Deewani and Saiyaan. His blend of folk, Sufi, and contemporary music created an unforgettable experience.
Since its formation in 2004, KAILASA has been synonymous with innovative sounds, bringing together some of India’s finest musicians. Kher’s soulful voice and energetic performance kept the crowd swaying to the rhythms well into the night.

The Jaipur Literature Festival 2025 will conclude on February 3, with its final two days featuring thought-provoking conversations led by world-renowned thinkers, writers, and speakers. Organizers have already promised that the Jaipur Music Stage will return in 2026 with yet another spectacular lineup of musical brilliance.

The 2025 edition of the Jaipur Music Stage proved to be a celebration of melody, rhythm, and culture, leaving audiences eagerly awaiting the next musical chapter in Jaipur’s vibrant arts calendar.
