A compassionate and visionary leader, his legacy of humility, unity, and unwavering commitment to peace has left a profound impact across the world,” Dr. Moopen said. Pope Francis’ leadership transcended religious and cultural boundaries, inspiring millions worldwide with his focus on peace, compassion, and social justice. 

Dr. Moopen also noted Pope Francis’ historic 2019 visit to the UAE, a landmark moment in fostering interfaith dialogue and tolerance. “In the UAE, a nation that champions tolerance and interfaith harmony, his historic visit in 2019 marked a defining moment, strengthening the values of coexistence and mutual respect that we hold dear,” he stated. The visit symbolised Pope Francis’ dedication to building bridges between different faiths and promoting a culture of peace and mutual respect.
