Sharjah to Showcase Tourism Excellence at ATM 2025

The emirate plans to introduce new projects and an extensive array of accommodation options, from luxury stays to exciting staycations.

Sharjah is all set to make its mark at the prestigious Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, which will take place from April 28 to May 1, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Under the banner of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), the emirate will present its diverse tourism offerings at a specially curated pavilion, bringing together over 25 representatives from both public and private sectors. This participation aims to spotlight Sharjah’s recent advancements in tourism, culture, and development, further reinforcing the emirate’s status as a leading destination on the global tourism map.

ATM 2025 will gather industry experts, thought leaders, and decision-makers from around the world in the realms of tourism, hospitality, and travel. With a focus on how tourism can enhance business operations, improve customer experiences, and foster international collaborations, the event is expected to shape the future of tourism, particularly in terms of connectivity and innovation. The exhibition’s theme, “Global Travel: Shaping the Future of Tourism through Enhanced Connectivity,” serves as an ideal platform for Sharjah to share its progressive initiatives and practices while contributing to both global and national economic growth.

Sharjah’s participation at ATM will emphasise its ongoing efforts to innovate and diversify its tourism sector. The emirate plans to introduce new projects and an extensive array of accommodation options, from luxury stays to exciting staycations. In addition, visitors will get an opportunity to explore the wide range of activities Sharjah offers, from cultural and heritage tours to adventure tourism and eco-friendly experiences. The focus will also be on the emirate’s year-round calendar of events designed to enrich the guest experience and promote sustainability in its tourism practices.

Sharjah’s strategic involvement in ATM reflects its commitment to enhancing its international presence and forging stronger global partnerships. By showcasing its multifaceted tourism offerings, the emirate seeks to position itself as a premier hub for cultural, adventure, and eco-tourism, with a clear emphasis on sustainability and authenticity. Sharjah’s tourism landscape integrates a blend of history, modernity, nature, and culture, providing a well-rounded and immersive experience for travelers of all interests.

The SCTDA’s participation at ATM aligns with its broader mission of promoting sustainable tourism. By sharing best practices, exploring innovations, and connecting with global partners, the authority aims to strengthen Sharjah’s position as a year-round destination. Moreover, the event serves as a crucial platform for the exchange of ideas and solutions in the tourism, hospitality, and travel sectors, fostering collaboration that will shape the future of global tourism.

Through its efforts at ATM 2025, Sharjah continues to demonstrate its commitment to inclusivity and openness to different cultures. The emirate is working on establishing new dialogues, partnerships, and cooperative initiatives that contribute to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable tourism industry. This dedication underscores Sharjah’s role as a forward-thinking and dynamic tourism destination, with a strong focus on maintaining its cultural heritage while embracing innovation and sustainability.

As the emirate continues to enhance its tourism offerings, the participation at ATM is a key milestone in Sharjah’s ongoing efforts to develop as a leading global tourism destination. With its unique blend of culture, nature, adventure, and sustainability, Sharjah is poised to offer an exceptional visitor experience, solidifying its position as a must-visit destination on the world stage.
