Trump Unveils F-47, 6-th Gen Fighter by Boeing

President Donald Trump has unveiled the F-47, the United States’ latest sixth-generation fighter jet, promising unparalleled aerial dominance. The aircraft, developed by Boeing, has been in secret experimental flight testing for nearly five years and will now move toward full production.

Speaking from the Oval Office alongside Secretary of State Pete Hegseth and senior military officials, Trump described the F-47 as “the most advanced, most capable, most lethal aircraft ever built.” He emphasised that its technology far surpasses any competing system worldwide.

Secretary of Defence Hegseth echoed the sentiment, calling the F-47 a symbol of American military superiority. “We’ve had the F-15, the F-16, the F-18, the F-22, the F-35—and now we have the F-47,” he said. “This jet sends a clear message to our allies and our enemies that American airpower remains unchallenged.”

Trump confirmed that the production infrastructure is already in place, ensuring rapid deployment of the new aircraft. “We’ve given an order for a lot,” he said, stating that a “toned-down” version of the F-47 will be available for US allies. “Our allies are calling constantly. They want to buy them. But we will reduce capabilities by about 10 per cent—just in case they aren’t our allies in the future.”

While key details, including cost, remain classified, Trump hinted at the aircraft’s advanced integration with drone technology. “This plane flies with drones. As many as you want,” he said. “No other plane can do that.”

Air Force Chief of Staff General David Alvin hailed the F-47 as “the crown jewel” of America’s Next Generation Air Dominance programme. “This is a big day for the United States Air Force,” he said. “With the F-47, we’re ensuring our ability to control the skies for generations to come.”

The announcement underscores Trump’s push to maintain US military supremacy and bolster defence capabilities as global tensions rise.
