Bollywood Fuels British Creative Sector

Housefull 5, the fifth instalment of the hit Bollywood comedy franchise, recently launched its trailer on 27 May 2025 to overwhelming response

The UK’s visual effects industry continues to gain global acclaim—this time with a starring role in two of Bollywood’s most anticipated films. British studios Do It Creative Ltd and Pink VFX, the pioneering all-women-led division of Final Post Ltd, are behind the striking visuals of Housefull 5 and Sardaarji 3, marking a major milestone in UK–India creative partnerships.

Housefull 5, the fifth instalment of the hit Bollywood comedy franchise, recently launched its trailer on 27 May 2025 to overwhelming response. While the spotlight was on the film’s signature humour and lavish sequences, attention quickly turned to the UK-based visual effects teams behind the spectacle.

At the heart of this international collaboration is Sam Bhattacharjee, founder of both Do It Creative Ltd and Final Post Ltd. Speaking about the project, he said:

“These collaborations are rooted in mutual trust, creative ambition, and shared global standards. With Pink VFX, we’ve built an inclusive studio that’s delivering world-class work. I believe this is just the beginning for UK–India creative alliances.”

Pink VFX, an innovative division launched under Final Post Ltd, is setting a new benchmark in the industry with its all-women leadership. Its role in bringing complex VFX sequences to life for major Bollywood titles has made it a standout player in a traditionally male-dominated sector.

Anjali Dwivedi, FX Lead at Pink VFX, shared her experience: “I had the incredible opportunity to work as Lead VFX Artist with Pink VFX—an inspiring, all-women-led startup based in the UK that’s redefining the visual effects landscape. Leading a talented team on some of the most high-impact sequences has been both creatively fulfilling and professionally enriching.”

The producers of Housefull 5 praised the partnership:

“The motive behind Pink VFX is noble, and we’re glad they were able to match the expectations of Housefull 5. We also congratulate Do It Creative Ltd and welcome Pink VFX as a new addition to our trusted vendor circle.”

Meanwhile, Sardaarji 3—set for release on 27 June 2025—is also receiving the Pink VFX treatment. Its producers, already familiar with Sam Bhattacharjee’s previous work on hits like Jatt & Juliet and Sidhus of Southall, expressed their enthusiasm:

“This is our first collaboration with Pink VFX, though we’ve worked with Sam before. We’re confident Sardaarji 3 will be extraordinary with his team on board.”

With both films nearing release, the success of these collaborations cements the UK’s growing influence in global cinema. By combining technical excellence with inclusive leadership, Do It Creative Ltd and Pink VFX are not only elevating Indian cinema’s visual storytelling but also showcasing the UK as a powerhouse of innovation and talent.

As Bollywood expands its global footprint, these UK studios are proving that world-class VFX has no borders—only shared visions and ambitious storytellers.
