Chop Chop by Four Seasons at The Hippodrome: Contemporary Chinese cuisine

One of London’s most renowned Chinese restaurant groups, Four Seasons, has partnered up with London’s landmark casino; The Hippodrome, on Leicester Square. Chop Chop is the capital’s latest Southeast Asian hotspot offering late night dining and fresh, authentic Cantonese cuisine. Chop Chop offers high levels of customer service, unique décor, a modern approach, and a Cobot (collaboration-robot) named Chopi. Located on the lower ground floor, Chop Chop by Four Seasons has quickly become a must-visit destination for authentic Cantonese dining. Open from 6 PM to 4 AM daily, it caters to everything from post-work dinners to late-night cravings.

Designed by Rachel O’Toole, the restaurant evokes 1960s Hong Kong with formica-topped tables, latticed partitions, and intimate booths, creating a warm and immersive atmosphere.

A Nod to Hong Kong
The restaurant designed by Rachel O’Toole is a true blend of style and culture, drawing inspiration from 1960s Hong Kong. The incorporation of formica-topped tables, latticed partitions, intimate booths, and high counter seating creates an ambiance that transports guests to that era, offering a unique and immersive dining experience.

The logo of Chop Chop by Four Seasons at The Hippodrome, features two koi fish representing the partnership between the two brands. The name “Chop Chop” carries multiple meanings; Quick and efficient dining experience; Chopping of the signature dishes; and the traditional use of Chopsticks. The dragon gracefully embellishes the plateware and alongside the Koi neons and logo; together pays homage to the Chinese Waterfall Legend.

One of the Signature dishes is Four Seasons’ renowned Hong Kong style roast duck, named by the Financial Times as ‘the best in the world’ is made to a secret recipe, and available until 4am at Chop Chop at The Hippodrome. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, extending beyond their infamous Roast Duck to other Signature Meat options to include Char Sui BBQ and Crispy Pork; with other standout dishes such as whole lobsters, Kai Lan & Tofu, and a variety of seafood, vegetarian and vegan options.

Diners can customise their meal by pairing these delightful choices with your preferred noodles or rice. Starters include crispy duck with pancakes, spring rolls, a choice of soups, and the popular prawn crackers. The colourful dim sum menu has a selection of 12 dumpling and bun options all made from natural colourings, and the Mains include the classics such as sweet & sour and chow mein, as well as modern dishes like the tempura prawns with wasabi mayonnaise. Vegans are well catered for with various noodles and rice options; guests can personalise their order according to their
preference.

Desserts include exclusive ice cream lollies such as White Rabbit, or the vegan pandan & coconut jelly, and taro flavours. Alternatively, Chop Chop’s partnership with Sakurado introduces the pistachio mille crepe cake, a custard filled choux bun or a refreshing yuzu cheesecake.

The drinks menu features Tsingtao Chinese beer and teas including Jasmine, Chinese Oolong and Chrysanthemum, or the original Milk Tea with toppings. Southeast Asian inspired alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails include Pandan, popping boba and coconut jelly created into classics such as the Old Fashioned, Margarita and Martini.

Chop Chop by Four Seasons at The Hippodrome offers a polished and modern dining experience with an inviting, lively atmosphere. The service is attentive, with staff demonstrating a keen knowledge of the menu and providing thoughtful recommendations.
