RadhaRaman Folk Festival Celebrates 10 Years

RadhaRaman Society has been hosting this festival for the last nine years connecting leading musicians and audiences from all different cultural traditions…writes Prof Geetha Upadhyaya, OBE

This is the 10th year celebration of the RadhaRaman Folk Festival.
RadhaRaman Society has been hosting this festival for the last nine years connecting leading musicians and audiences from all different cultural traditions. The society also has been playing a pioneering role in bringing our folk music to the world stage through Baul and Vaishnav Music Festival in London, International Dance Festival and producing Bengali Opera in new shape for western audiences.

The festival is happening virtually on 27-29 this year from 2pm to 2am and has been curated with great creativity by the Yorkshire based Kaysher Ahmed – a great cultural ambassador.

Asian Lite wishes the RadhaRaman Festival many more years of great cultural events and hope this special year will bring happiness as usually to the audience across the world during this difficult time.
