Queen’s Baton Relay webinar to commemorate Commonwealth Games 2022

The Business and Tourism Programme Partners have organised a webinar on 12 January (for invitees only) to commemorate the visit to India of the Queen’s Baton Relay for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The Queen’s Baton Relay is scheduled on 12th Jan 2022 – 4pm-5pm (IST) / 10.30am – 11.30am (UK Time). This webinar will be the launch point for a sustained programme of value-add activities for investor audiences, with detailed information on the sectors being shared with delegates after the event.

As part of the Commonwealth Games, the Business & Tourism Programme that includes West Midlands Growth Company, West Midlands Combined Authority , Department for Digital Culture , Media and Sport and Department for International Trade has been developed to create a lasting economic legacy for the West Midlands and UK, with partners working in collaboration to showcase the opportunities unique to this region.

The partners state that Birmingham and the West Midlands offer a wealth of opportunities for investors, trade & export. The webinar will include conversation as to how organisations can benefit from UK-India collaboration in key growth sectors including tech, life sciences and future mobility – bringing together our two countries strengths in innovation and production.
