The Pakistan government has shut down the historical Gurdwara Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh due to land dispute between local Sikhs and a group of activists of Dawat-e-Islami (Barelvi).

The move resulted in forcing the Sikh community in Pakistan to observe the martyrdom anniversary of Bhai Taru Singh in nearby Gurdwara Shahid Ganj Singh Singhania, ZEE NEWS reported.

According to ZEE reports, the bhog of the akhand path would take place on Friday at Gurdwara Shahid Ganj Singh Singhania and the local Sikh population will gather in the Gurdwara to observe the death anniversary of Bhai Taru Singh.

As the tension escalates, the Pakistan government intervened and sealed the premises to avoid any unfortunate incident.
