MBZ receives Indonesian Minister of Maritime Affairs

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs of Indonesia, General Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, who is currently visiting the country…reports Asian Lite News

At the beginning of the meeting, the Indonesian minister conveyed the greetings of Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his wishes for good health and happiness to the UAE president and further progress and prosperity to the Emirates. Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated the greetings.

During the meeting, which took place at the Qasr Al Shati’ Palace, the two sides discussed the prospects of enhancing cooperation between the two nations across all fronts with special emphasis on vital sectors, including maritime, investment and economic affairs. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of interest.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy National Security Adviser, Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; in addition to a number of officials and the delegation accompanying the Indonesian Minister.
