Tiny Hands, Big Feat: Kerala Boy Sets Origami Record 

12-year-old Hariharan A Dileep from Ernakulam amazed everyone by folding his way into the India Book of Records with a tiny 4 mm origami bird…reports Asian Lite News 

In a stunning display of precision and creativity, 12-year-old Hariharan A Dileep from Ernakulam has folded his way into the India Book of Records by crafting an origami bird measuring just 4 mm. This incredible achievement, earned without the aid of tools, has crowned him as an “IBR Achiever,” cementing his place in the record books on November 28, 2024. 

Hariharan’s passion for origami began at an early age, nurtured through self-learning with the help of YouTube and social media platforms. His record-breaking crane was folded entirely by hand without the use of any tools or equipment, showcasing his exceptional skill and dedication.

The India Book of Records officially confirmed Hariharan’s submission on December 17, 2024. He is a Class 7 student at Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, and an active Junior Cadet with the Sea Cadet Corps at Naval Base Kochi. In addition to his talent in origami, Hariharan is an aspiring drummer currently undergoing training. 

His parents, Dileep K S and Ambili V, both employees at Infopark, Kochi, expressed immense pride in their son’s unique accomplishment. Hariharan’s achievement not only highlights his creativity and precision but also serves as an inspiration for young talents across the country.
