Apple Bundles TV, Arcade With iCloud+

Apple said the expanded iCloud+ package will roll out in more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September

Apple has expanded its technology and subscription ecosystem in India with the rollout of new software updates, next-generation Siri AI capabilities and a new iCloud+ bundle that includes Apple TV and Apple Arcade.

The US technology giant announced iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and tvOS 27, bringing enhanced Apple Intelligence features alongside new tools designed to give users greater control over their devices.

The next-generation Siri is being rolled out as a beta in English. Apple said support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish will be added in October.

The latest updates also introduce expanded parental controls, including age-based safeguards for child accounts, approval for new websites and contacts, enhanced Communication Safety features and a redesigned Screen Time experience.

For Indian users, Apple is also changing how some of its subscription services are offered.

From this month, iCloud+ subscribers in India will receive access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost. The iCloud+ subscription starts at Rs 75 per month for 50GB of storage.

Apple TV provides access to the company’s original films and series, while Apple Arcade offers more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases. Subscribers will also receive access to Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free music stations.

Apple said the expanded iCloud+ package will roll out in more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September.

The move also means Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly through Apple in India. Existing subscribers will continue to access the services through their iCloud+ subscription, with their individual subscriptions cancelled.

Apple One will also no longer be available to new subscribers in India, although existing Apple One customers will retain access to their plans.

The changes give Apple an opportunity to make iCloud+ more attractive by combining cloud storage with entertainment and gaming services.

At the same time, the software rollout strengthens Apple’s focus on artificial intelligence, with Siri and Apple Intelligence becoming increasingly integrated into its wider ecosystem.

The combination of AI features, parental controls and bundled subscriptions reflects Apple’s broader strategy of making its devices, software and services more closely connected, while offering Indian customers additional services through a single iCloud+ subscription.
