Aster Unveils 360° Care For Women Across UAE

Aster DM Healthcare launches UAE-wide women’s health programme combining prevention, specialist care, adolescence clinics, menopause support and personalised wellness pathways across Aster and Medcare, reports Asian Lite News Desk

Aster DM Healthcare has launched a group-wide women’s health programme in the UAE aimed at providing coordinated medical support for women from adolescence through menopause and later life. The initiative combines services across Aster Hospitals & Clinics and Medcare Hospitals & Medical Centres under two interconnected programmes: “Care for Her” by Aster and “Elle by Medcare”.

The healthcare group said the programme is designed to address a gap in structured, life-stage-based women’s healthcare by integrating prevention, early detection, specialist consultations, treatment, follow-up care and long-term wellness support into a single framework.

Announcing the launch on June 29, Aster DM Healthcare said the initiative will support women through four key stages — teens and twenties, young women, perimenopause and menopause. Each stage will have dedicated clinical pathways, preventive screenings and multi-specialty consultations tailored to changing hormonal, physical, emotional and metabolic health needs.

Services included in the programme range from hormone replacement therapy and mental wellbeing counselling to specialised care for thyroid disorders, reproductive health, metabolic conditions and sexual health concerns.

Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, said the programme was created in response to the challenges women often face in accessing timely guidance and coordinated care.

“In today’s fast paced world where families are often far apart and people are juggling multiple priorities, young girls or women do not often find the right guidance that can support them aptly through their individual health needs, often experiencing delay in seeking the right care,” she said.

She added that Aster’s experience in women’s healthcare across its various businesses made it possible to create a network capable of supporting women through different life stages, from adolescence and pregnancy to menopause.

“Women are natural decision-makers. They plan, lead, organise and adapt. Caring for their health is not separate from that strength, it is an extension of it. This programme is about clarity, awareness and confidence,” Moopen said.

Care for Her by Aster is being rolled out across Aster Hospital Al Mankhool, Aster Hospital Al Qusais and Aster Clinics in Bur Dubai, Muteena, Discovery Gardens, Arabian Ranches, Al Qusais and Al Khail. The programme includes dedicated care coordinators, age-specific wellness plans and coordinated referrals between specialists.

Elle by Medcare will operate through Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, Medcare Women & Children Hospital, Medcare Hospital Sharjah, Medcare Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi Hospital and selected Medcare Medical Centres. It offers a more personalised, concierge-style healthcare experience while following the same clinical philosophy.

Under the Medcare programme, women will begin with a gynaecology consultation and may be referred to specialists in endocrinology, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology and mental health as required. Advanced diagnostics and customised wellness plans will also form part of the service.

Aster DM Healthcare said both programmes will include dedicated Adolescence Clinics and Menopause Clinics, areas it described as often underserved within traditional healthcare systems. These clinics are intended to provide structured environments for education, early intervention and long-term health planning.

Beyond clinical services, the initiative will include community awareness campaigns, educational sessions, school programmes, corporate outreach and wellness workshops. Particular emphasis will be placed on adolescent health through school-based initiatives aimed at improving health literacy and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices from an early age.

The company said the programme reflects its view that women’s health should be treated as a continuous journey rather than a series of isolated medical episodes. By combining clinical care with preventive health, education and personalised support, Aster hopes to establish one of the region’s most comprehensive women’s health networks.
