IndiaAI, in collaboration with Intel India, will attempt to set a Guinness World Records title for the “Most pledges received for an AI responsibility campaign in 24 hours” on February 16–17.
The nationwide ‘AI Responsibility’ Pledge aims to create a large-scale, citizen-led movement promoting the ethical, responsible and human-centric use of Artificial Intelligence. The initiative seeks to build awareness, trust and accountability around emerging technologies while strengthening AI readiness across the country.
Through a 24-hour digital pledge campaign, citizens from diverse regions, professions and age groups — particularly youth — are encouraged to commit to responsible AI practices, including data privacy, ethical technology use and combating misinformation. Organisers describe it as one of India’s largest efforts focused on responsible digital citizenship.

The record attempt coincides with the India AI Impact Summit, scheduled from February 16–20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Hosted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under the IndiaAI Mission, the summit will focus on inclusive, sustainable and responsible AI adoption, reinforcing India’s commitment to ethical AI leadership.
