UAE and US leaders strengthen strategic partnership in Washington, focusing on economy, tech, energy, AI and regional stability while advancing shared ambitions for peace and development
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with United States Vice President J.D. Vance during an official working visit to Washington to reaffirm and deepen the long-standing strategic partnership between the two countries.
The high-level talks, held amid a backdrop of expanding diplomatic and economic engagement, focused on broadening cooperation across key areas such as the economy, trade, advanced technology, energy and artificial intelligence. Both sides also exchanged perspectives on regional and global developments of mutual concern, including security issues and shared geopolitical interests.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the UAE’s commitment to continuing close collaboration with the United States to unlock new opportunities that serve the long-term interests of both nations. “The depth of historical ties between the UAE and the United States provides a solid foundation for launching new areas of cooperation, particularly within vital priority sectors,” he said, noting that ongoing coordination is essential to bolstering regional stability, peace, and coexistence.
