Art of Living, Kent sign pact to provide free water filters in Indian villages

This initiative aims to distribute 1,00,000 Kent Optima Water Filters across four Indian states, a report by Rahul Laud

The Art of Living and Kent have signed an MOU on June 10 to distribute high-quality Kent Gold UF (Optima) water filters free of charge in rural India.

Present at the signing ceremony were Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Prasana Prabhu, Chairman, The Art of Living Social Projects and Mahesh Gupta, Managing Director, Kent. 

This initiative aims to distribute 1,00,000 Kent Optima Water Filters across four Indian states. The initial phase focuses on providing 25,000 filters in Maharashtra, starting in Jalna District.

The effort aims to provide clean drinking water to rural areas, with free maintenance for four years. The Art of Living’s technical team will ensure filters are placed where they are most needed, enhancing rural health and hygiene.
