Israel’s Prime Minister Yair Lapid and President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday talked over the phone about expanding normalization deals in the Middle East.

The two emphasized the importance of deepening the “warm ties” between their countries which normalized their relationship under the U.S.-brokered Abraham Accords signed in Sept. 2020, Lapid’s office said in a statement.
