Saiyami’s love for running is well-known — she has often spoken about how marathons give her mental clarity and joy beyond fitness. Her ability to balance her athletic pursuits with a busy acting schedule reflects her disciplined yet spirited approach to life
Actress and fitness enthusiast Saiyami Kher recently turned her Roman holiday into a celebration of two of her greatest loves — family and running. The Ghoomer star, who is known for her passion for fitness and marathons, spent her vacation in Italy’s Eternal City with her parents and sister, soaking in the historic sights, while also participating in the Half Rome Marathon.
For Saiyami, exploring a new city is best done on foot — quite literally. “The best way to see a city is on foot… running through its streets and feeling its energy,” she shared. “Every time I travel, I try to do a half marathon there. Rome honestly has to be one of the prettiest runs I’ve ever done. From the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain and finishing at the Colosseum, it felt like running through a postcard.”
The actress described her experience as both exhilarating and serene, praising the perfect weather and the city’s timeless charm. “There were moments I forgot I was even racing,” she said with a smile. “I was just grinning and soaking it all in. And after 21 kms through the heart of Rome, I definitely earned every slice of pizza and gelato that followed.”
