Jayasurya’s much-awaited comedy entertainer Aadu 3: One Last Ride Part 1 has been cleared for release with a clean ‘U’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification, paving the way for its worldwide theatrical debut on March 19.
Sharing the update on social media, Jayasurya celebrated the milestone with enthusiasm, confirming that the film is ready to hit screens without any cuts. The certification adds to the growing anticipation around the third instalment of the popular Aadu franchise, which has built a loyal fan base over the years.
The announcement comes shortly after the makers dismissed speculation about a possible delay in release. Production houses Friday Film House and Kavya Film Company had issued a joint statement reaffirming their commitment to the scheduled release date, despite ongoing global uncertainties.
Describing the film as a labour of love, the producers highlighted the emotional connection audiences have developed with the franchise, which has evolved into a cult favourite. They emphasised that the latest chapter continues to celebrate themes of friendship, humour and chaos, while also carrying a deeper message about unity and the healing power of laughter.
