The makers of The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond have unveiled the trailer of the much-anticipated sequel, declaring a defiant message — “this time, we do not stay silent.” Backed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under his banner Sunshine Pictures, the film promises an intense and provocative narrative that expands the themes introduced in its predecessor.
Sharing the trailer on social media, the makers wrote: “They targeted our daughters. They broke their trust. They stole their futures. This time, we do not stay silent. The story goes beyond. Is bar sahenge nahi… ladenge.” The film is slated to release in cinemas on February 27, 2026.
The trailer opens with a stark warning that in the coming decades, India could face dramatic socio-religious transformation. The narrative then moves swiftly across states, beginning in Rajasthan, where a distressed Hindu family approaches the police with a POCSO complaint, alleging that their minor daughter was coerced into religious conversion. The emotional gravity of the parents’ plea sets a tense tone.
The story then shifts to Madhya Pradesh, where a young woman is allegedly deceived into marriage under false pretences, only to find herself pressured to change her faith. The third strand unfolds in Kerala, depicting a relationship that spirals into confrontation when the woman refuses to convert.
